The protesters wore surgical masks and banners with messages such as "We want to profess, we don't want to leave", "We ask for a certainty on December 8th", "We wanted little respect in this flawed system, we would like to be well, but the policy is keeping us ".
"It has been known that this exam has been around for a long time and we need to set a clear date to support the residency. It is difficult to try to focus on situations like this, instead of using the time to study and prepare. We see ourselves put in a situation where we must ask for a clear date to be able to take the exam, being abnormal and even humiliating for us to be postponed forever, "said one of the protest organizers, Mihai Oprea.
This year's residency exam has been postponed to December 8, two weeks ago, the Minister of Health, Sorina Pintea, announced. The exam was supposed to take place on November 17th. The postponement was motivated by the fact that the Minister of Education was not appointed a minister or an interim minister to sign the normative acts necessary for organizing the competition.
